The Barnet, Enfield & Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a qualified CAMHS Therapist for the Barnet Enhanced Support Team, which specializes in providing psychiatric and therapeutic interventions for adolescents aged 13-18 facing high levels of risk and challenges, such as self-harm, suicidal intent, and severe mental health issues. The role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team that emphasises rapid, flexible, and accessible services for young people who are difficult to engage in standard outpatient settings, with a strong focus on those from complex backgrounds who have experienced trauma or abuse.

Candidates should have clinical experience working with young people in NHS environments and must be able to operate independently in both community clinics and outreach situations. Effective collaboration within the professional network surrounding the youth is essential. The position is based at the Barnet CAMHS premises and includes responsibilities such as conducting home visits, maintaining accurate clinical records, and potentially using a personal vehicle for outreach tasks. Applicants are required to be registered with a recognized professional body and possess strong communication and organisational skills to support this demanding role.
