Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or CBR Therapist to join the Birth in Mind service, focused on maternal mental health. This specialist role involves assessing and treating adults experiencing severe Fear of Birth (tokophobia) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) related to childbirth experiences, including miscarriage and neonatal loss. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of psychologists and therapists, and will be supported in professional development through generous CPD time, strong supervision frameworks, and opportunities to engage in various therapeutic modalities like Trauma-Focused CBT and EMDR.

The position is based at Erlegh House on the University of Reading campus, offering a flexible hybrid working model. Key responsibilities include providing specialist assessments, evidence-based interventions, and participating in service improvement projects. Candidates must hold a relevant psychology qualification and have experience in treating PTSD, with a preferred background in perinatal mental health.
