The role of Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester offers a permanent, full-time position within an expanding Lung cancer research team. The CRN will primarily manage and assess the complex needs of patients enrolled in various academic and commercial clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality research. Key responsibilities include coordinating patient pathways, participating in trial feasibility and risk assessments, overseeing treatment administration, and fostering communication with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.

Candidates should possess a background in oncology, strong communication skills, and ideally experience in clinical research. The role emphasises professional development and education, and the CRN will engage in team training, promote research awareness, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of cancer treatment and patient care.
