The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and motivated Band 6 Therapy Radiographer to join its Chelsea Radiotherapy department, known for its advanced cancer care and technology. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge in advanced radiotherapy techniques, including IMRT, VMAT, VIBH, and IGRT, and will be responsible for delivering specialized treatments like SABR and SRS/T. The role involves closely collaborating with senior staff to ensure high-quality patient care, overseeing radiotherapy processes, managing the operational aspects of various treatment areas, and supervising the immediate team in the absence of a team leader.

In addition to technical responsibilities, the post-holder will engage in training and mentoring junior staff and student radiographers while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and Trust policies. Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining a safe working environment are also essential aspects of the role, ensuring that all practices adhere to the highest professional and ethical standards.
