Avery Healthcare Group Ltd. is seeking a warm and dedicated Sous Chef for their Acorn Lodge Care Home. The role involves supporting the Head Chef in leading a culinary team to deliver high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals for residents, while adhering to budget constraints. Key responsibilities include preparing modified diets in line with IDDSI guidelines, supervising culinary staff, ensuring safe food handling and hygiene standards, and supporting the team in understanding the Avery Food safety management system.

Candidates should have relevant catering qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ) and at least one year of catering experience. They must demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent culinary service, be flexible, and embody the values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability.
