The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Lead Dietitian for their Critical Care service at Royal Derby Hospital. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and experienced dietitian looking to enhance their skills in critical care dietetics and service development. The successful applicant will provide clinical leadership, ensuring evidence-based care for patients while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across the Trust. They will also oversee research, audit work, and lead various improvement projects, while offering clinical supervision to the dietetic department in nutrition support.

Additionally, the role demands strong communication and leadership skills, as the Clinical Lead will assess and manage a clinical caseload while supporting team development. Responsibilities include coverage of inpatient services related to stroke/neuro and parenteral nutrition as needed. The department is committed to training dietetic students and providing educational programs for healthcare professionals about nutritional care.
