Primary Care Physio, the largest independent first contact primary care provider in England, is seeking a qualified First Contact Practitioner (Podiatrist) to join their team in Sheffield. The role involves collaborating with NHS Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and GP practices to deliver high-quality podiatry services. Candidates must hold a HCPC and CoP registration, with a minimum of five years of post-graduate experience, including three years in relevant clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage complex cases, including ordering investigations and making referrals.
  • Utilize complete clinical skills, including independent prescribing and injection therapy, when properly trained.
  • Support patients in self-management, guiding them to set personal health goals and improve their independence.
  • Collaborate and communicate within multidisciplinary teams to enhance podiatry care integration across services.
  • Lead service delivery while ensuring clinical governance through audits, evaluations, and training.
