Working in the NHS is not all about making other people richer or doing meaningless, boring and unrewarding jobs - it's real work with real people. It takes flexibility, commitment and compassion, but in return we can offer you a rewarding career where you can really make a difference.
With strong team working skills, you will be able to demonstrate the values that are important to us, communicating well with both colleagues and patients.
Here at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust we are proud of the first class care we provide our patients and to further support this we are expanding our teams of Healthcare Support Workers / Healthcare Assistants across all departments within the Hospital. You will be trained to complete your Care Certificate which gives you all the skills you need to be a success (aside from your brilliant personality and helpful nature!). But it doesn't stop there - if you want to progress in your career we can even offer you the opportunity to specialise with specialist skills or take our fantastic apprenticeship to become a nurse. No university fees, no student debts - you can earn whilst you learn! What are you waiting for?
