The Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a compassionate and ambitious Deputy General Manager (Band 7) to join the new Surgical Divisional Management Team in Gloucester. This leadership position involves overseeing operational management and strategic decision-making for GI Services within the Surgical Division, focusing on recovery and transformation post-COVID-19. Key responsibilities include budgetary management, the design and delivery of clinical and non-clinical elective services, and developing objectives that align with the Trust's strategic goals. The role also entails performance management, financial oversight, staff management, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

Candidates will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, the ability to implement innovative service developments, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture. The Deputy General Manager will work closely with surgical general managers and clinical colleagues to optimize service delivery, monitor performance metrics, and drive improvements in line with national guidelines and Trust policies.
