The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapist to join their Therapy Department. The role involves a 37.5-hour work week with opportunities to rotate through various clinical areas including Medicine, Care of Older People, Neurology, Hand Therapy, and more, both in hospital settings and the community.

Key responsibilities include conducting occupational therapy assessments, collaborating with clients to address their occupational needs, and providing individual and group interventions. Effective communication with patients, particularly those with complex clinical presentations, is essential. The position also requires home visits when appropriate and participation in evaluating treatment outcomes.

Applicants must be HCPC registered with a diverse background in clinical placements. Strong time management, organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure are necessary. The role involves contributing to the development of therapy assistants and supporting students in placements.

The position offers a supportive environment with regular supervision, team support, and engagement in clinical governance activities. Participation in weekend and 7-day rotas is also required.
