The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking an Advanced Clinical Lead Pharmacist – Specialised Medicine for their Stoke on Trent location, focusing on Gastroenterology and Respiratory Medicine. This role involves leading a dedicated team comprised of Advanced Specialist Pharmacists, Junior Pharmacists, and Medicines Management staff, ensuring the delivery of optimal care to patients in these specialties. The successful candidate will collaborate with other Advanced Clinical Lead Pharmacists, drive the development of innovative pharmacy services, and contribute to the training and growth of the pharmacy workforce, including Medicines Management Technicians and Assistants.

As a key leader within the clinical pharmacy service, the Advanced Clinical Lead Pharmacist will be accountable for the provision of safe, effective, and cost-efficient pharmacy services, developing strategic operational plans to enhance patient experience and promote medicines optimisation. The role includes responsibilities such as implementing initiatives to improve quality and performance, working as an independent prescriber, and being an active, visible pharmacy leader in the organisation.
