Sixways Clinic in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced Health Care Assistant to join their supportive nursing team on a negotiable hour basis. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a General Practice setting, clinical system knowledge, and expertise in managing patient information. Key responsibilities include performing NHS Health Checks, administering vaccinations (such as B12, shingles, flu, and pneumonia), conducting ECGs, wound care, stitch removal, and phlebotomy, while ensuring infection control procedures are strictly followed.

The role involves working alongside doctors and nurses to provide treatment room services and maintain a well-organized treatment area. Candidates will also be responsible for managing clinical data, participating in evidence-based practices, and being alert to child health and protection issues in line with local policies. Candidates must uphold confidentiality and effectively communicate with clinicians regarding any concerns.
