The post holder is a key member of the Communications and Engagement team who will support the team to fulfil their duty to communicate and engage with patients, staff and communities across Norfolk and Waveney.
The post holder will take a lead on internal communications and engagement across Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System (ICS).
The post holder will manage the ICBs staff intranet site, working with colleagues across the ICB to ensure content is up to date and the site is functioning effectively.
Maximise the use of internal communication and engagement opportunities to ensure staff are informed and feel engaged to do the best they can.
In addition to leading on internal communications, the post holder will provide broader administrative, communications and engagement support to the wider team.
The post holder will provide some support to the following areas:Media enquiries and press releases: This may include responding to media enquiries from the press, liaising with colleagues across the ICB/ICS as appropriate, and writing copy for press releases. Digital communications: This may include writing and scheduling social media posts, using graphic design skills to create printed and digital materials, creating and editing webpages, and editing videos. Engagement activities and events: This may include creating surveys and coordinating events.
We are looking for a creative, organised and hardworking Communications and Engagement Officer who can support our busy Communications and Engagement team.
The successful candidate will be skilled at written and verbal communications, with experience in managing projects and excellent organisational skills.
