The Assistant Portering Services Manager at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Preston will support the Portering Services Manager in delivering high-quality patient care through effective management of the Portering team. This role is designed for dynamic leaders who possess strong interpersonal skills and adaptability. Responsibilities include managing staff administration, overseeing training and development, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with Trust policies. The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with other departments to optimize service delivery, engage stakeholders, and handle staff management processes. Occasional cross-site work at Royal Preston and Chorley hospitals is required, but a driving license is not necessary. Interviews are anticipated for the week of January 13, 2025, subject to change.
