The PALS Officer role at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust in Canterbury is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) focused on providing excellent customer service to patients and their families. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing informal queries, recording concerns, and ensuring appropriate responses within tight deadlines. Key skills required include strong problem-solving abilities, IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle challenging situations empathetically and effectively. The PALS team plays a crucial role in improving service quality by identifying areas for enhancement and providing guidance on the complaint process.
