The Humbleyard Practice in Cringleford is looking for an experienced Medical Coder/Summariser to join their coding and administrative support team. The position offers flexible full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing correspondence from hospitals and healthcare organisations, coding diagnoses and procedures, and summarizing both current and past patient records. The Humbleyard Practice is seeking an experienced medical coder/note summariser to work within the coding/administrative support team, based at our Cringleford Surgery. Working hours can be full time (37.5 hours) or part time, with flexible working patterns/days considered, this will be discussed at interview.
The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but who have a pivotal role in the surgery. This includes processing all correspondence from hospitals, community services and other healthcare organisations.
Your role will be to code diagnosis procedures and other relevant information to keep patients records up to date, as well as summarise patient records, both past and present.
