Outpatient Network is looking for Operating Department Practitioners specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery to support weekday sessions at University Hospital Shrewsbury & Telford. The role involves providing expert assistance during surgeries, preparing the operating theatre by ensuring all equipment is sterile and functional, and monitoring specialist equipment like heart-lung machines and ventilators. Practitioners will collaborate with surgical and nursing teams, deliver high-quality perioperative care, manage patient transfers to post-operative care, and document all provided care while maintaining cleanliness and readiness of equipment for future surgeries.
Candidates should be registered ODPs with HCPC and preferably have experience in cardiothoracic surgery. Strong teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential, along with a commitment to patient safety and high standards of care.

About You:
Registered ODP with HCPC.
