The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant for their team at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr, Ystrad Mynach. This band 3 role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality service. Candidates should be conscientious, adaptable, and possess a good educational background, with computer literacy as a key requirement.

The successful applicant will work under the supervision of a senior pharmacy technician and receive training to achieve an NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services. Responsibilities include accurately dispensing and distributing pharmaceuticals, managing stock, and utilizing pharmacy computer systems efficiently. Knowledge of Welsh is desirable but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in various pharmacy areas and contribute to effective patient care.
