The role of "111/IUC Team Manager - Barking" with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust entails managing a team of approximately 20 Service Advisors and Health Advisors within the 111 integrated urgent care service. The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader, responsible for providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team delivers high-quality service and maintains patient safety. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, operational service delivery experience, and a commitment to staff well-being, especially following recent challenges faced by the team.

In addition to overseeing daily operational management, the Team Manager will model effective leadership behaviors and assist in achieving the objectives of both the 111/IUC service and the Trust. This includes maintaining personal call-taking competencies, contributing to service improvements, and actively participating in training and professional development. The role also involves supporting the Operations Supervisors, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices, and fostering collaboration across the Integrated Urgent Care team.
