The Workforce Innovation Senior Manager at NHS England in Cambridge will lead and manage innovation functions within the workforce directorate, focusing on delivering effective workforce services across the east of England. Key responsibilities include supporting regional priorities, managing innovation activities and budgets, and collaborating with key stakeholders to implement innovative solutions for workforce challenges. The role involves developing and communicating strategic visions, engaging with national policy makers, identifying best practices, and enhancing the innovation infrastructure within healthcare organisations. The manager will also champion initiatives aimed at improving workforce training and service transformation, ensuring alignment with national objectives and that patient and public interests are prioritized. Additional duties include financial management, staff oversight, and fostering partnerships to facilitate cross-boundary working, all while promoting equality and inclusivity within the workforce.
