Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist focused on the Cochlear Implant program. This role involves providing advanced assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management for deaf children with complex communication needs within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work with a designated geographical caseload, collaborating with community health professionals and educators to ensure comprehensive care and support.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the therapist will engage in teaching and training for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as offering supervision to trainees and volunteers. The position emphasises the importance of audit, innovation, and research, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently while adhering to professional guidelines and contributing to ongoing service development.
