We are recruiting for an experienced neonatal intensive care sister/charge nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Croydon University Hospital.

Learn to develop your skills and increase your knowledge by becoming an experienced level two neonatal nurse, caring and stabilising a range of sick neonates from both extreme prematurity to term gestation who may need transfer to a tertiary center for on-going care
Senior Staff Nurse (Neonatal unit)
- Providing high quality, effective and individualised nursing care to a variety of patients in a compassionate and caring way.
- Responsible for delivering autonomous and collaborative care, ensuring the well-being and safety of neonates in neonatal intensive care units, and assisting with the stabilisation of neonates
- Assessing care needs and developing, implementing and evaluating care plans without supervision.
- Helping to lead and monitor the performance of the nursing team and mentoring students
- Deputising for the Senior Nurse as required.
- educating and supporting families, providing them with the necessary information and resources to care for their neonates. In order to provide the highest standard of care,
