Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join the neonatal intensive care team at Croydon University Hospital. The role involves providing high-quality, individualized nursing care to sick neonates, ranging from extreme prematurity to term gestation, while ensuring their safety and well-being. The Senior Staff Nurse will be responsible for assessing care needs, developing and implementing care plans autonomously, and mentoring nursing students. Additionally, the position includes leadership responsibilities, such as monitoring team performance and educating families on caring for their newborns.

This role offers significant opportunities for learning and career advancement, with the chance to develop skills as a level two neonatal nurse, while also potentially stepping in for the Senior Nurse as needed.
