The role of Employment Specialist at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust in Blandford Forum involves providing support to individuals with mental health diagnoses in their pursuit of competitive employment. As a full-time Band 5 specialist within the Dorset Work Matters Team, the successful candidate will utilize the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model to assist clients in identifying job goals, developing CVs, preparing for interviews, and navigating conversations about their health with potential employers. This position demands community engagement, working closely with both clients and employers to carve out job opportunities and deliver ongoing support to ensure mutual satisfaction and adherence to quality standards.

Candidates should possess a passion for helping people and the ability to empathize with diverse needs. The role emphasises the importance of maintaining compliance with the IPS Fidelity Model while meeting key performance indicators.
