The Occupational Therapist position at Fairlie Healthcare Group in Banstead involves providing specialized assessment and intervention for residents with complex needs across three homes: Woodstown House, Highfield House, and Fairlie House. The therapist will work autonomously, managing a clinical caseload and ensuring that residents receive high-quality treatment in accordance with the Professional Standards and Code of Ethics of the College of Occupational Therapists. Duties include conducting thorough assessments, delivering resident-centered interventions, and overseeing leisure and sensory activities.

Additionally, the role requires expertise in neurological assessments, such as the Wessex Head Injury Matrix and the JFK Coma Recovery Scale, among others. The post-holder will also provide guidance to carers, family members, and other non-professionals, utilizing their knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment options to enhance the well-being and quality of life for residents with diverse cognitive and physical challenges.
