The role involves providing support to a non-verbal client with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, including duties such as pad changing, seizure management, and general household tasks.
As a Brain Injury Support Worker, you will be responsible for engaging with the client's personalized routines, completing daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, and maintaining accurate records. You will need to have previous experience in a similar role, be able to deal with challenging behaviors, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in Daventry, Northamptonshire.
Our client is a lady in her late teens who lives at home with her parents, brother and the family cat. She is non-verbal, has cerebral palsy and epilepsy (with seizures) and due to the clients support needs and preference the successful candidate will need to be female, have a calm and friendly approach with previous experience of working with complex needs/brain injury.
As this is a night role, duties will include pad changing, seizure management, general household duties and monitoring of the client using a video link.Pay: £17.26 per hour
Hours: 18 hours per week over two nights (22:00 - 07:00)
