The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Support Service Secretary to join the SPA/Switchboard Service. This full-time role, which involves working 11-hour shifts across three or four days a week, requires strong secretarial and administration skills to handle various tasks in a busy environment. Responsibilities include operating the Trust's Switchboard, inputting referrals to mental health services, supporting the Crisis Assessment Service, minute-taking, managing email correspondence, and ordering supplies. The candidate must possess excellent communication and IT skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and be adaptable to changing needs, providing support and coverage for colleagues when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of advanced administrative and secretarial experience, demonstrating the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. They should also show a positive attitude towards new systems and methods, exhibit empathy towards clients, and effectively manage workloads while interacting with a diverse range of individuals. Overall, the role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient and consistent administrative support within the multidisciplinary teams of the Trust.
