                                                    Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist - Surgery  (Maternity Cover) with The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust in Shrewsbury

                                                     We have an opportunity to work as a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist covering Maternity leave for 12 months. The post covers our General Surgical wards and our Oncology ward at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.   The Therapy team includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy support workers including band 4s.     The post holder will provide specialist Occupational Therapy treatment to patients within our Surgical Wards and this may include complex patients such as amputees. The post holder will also work clinically on the Oncology ward, holding a complex caseload which may include Fast track patients and those with malignant spinal cord compression.   As Clinical Lead the post holder will be responsible for clinical leadership and support to the team in the form of appraisal and supervision.
