Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an ECG Technician for its Cardiac Investigations department. The ideal candidate should have experience in performing ECGs, though full training will be provided. The role includes conducting Electrocardiograms (ECGs), fitting Ambulatory Holter and blood pressure monitors, aiding in Exercise Tolerance Testing (ETT), and assisting in the Rapid Access Chest Pain clinic and Cardiac MRI preparations, which may involve cannulation.

The technician will work independently, recognize cardiac arrhythmias, and ensure accurate data input into local databases. The position offers a supportive environment to develop expertise in cardiology with opportunities for advancement as the department evolves. The technician will collaborate closely with Cardiac Physiologists and may be required to perform tests across the KGH site.

This revolutionary system aimed to ensure that access to medical services would not depend on an individual’s financial situation, a concept that has since become fundamental to British societal values.Learn more...
