We have an exciting opportunity to join our Bath North service as a Band 5 Community Nurse based at our The Hollies, Midsomer Norton location.
We have a
part time
opportunity with service hours typically being
8.00am - 5pm Monday to Friday
with one in every 4 weekends. Your focus will be to offer advice and support to housebound service users in their own homes to promote their well-being and independence. You will also be offered a flexible role where you can work your own diary to provide continuity of care.
You will join an extremely supportive and friendly team where teamwork is at the forefront of everything they do and fostering the development of skills and careers are paramount. There are two Band 7 in the team who are always based in the Hollies service who are always available for clinical support and guidance. Our Team also have an Outstanding rating from CQC!
You will also work alongside the Reablement team and Community Matrons in a multi-disciplinary atmosphere. The service is located right on the high-street of Midsomer Norton, with a Sainsburys situated nearby as well as the service having its own dedicated car park!
We offer an individually tailored induction programme to suit your needs and interests and to help you develop your skills to be the best they can be, as well as preceptorships for newly qualified nurses.
Whether you are a newly qualified, due to qualify, or an experienced Band 5 Nurse already, we would love to hear from you!
When I joined the community I assumed the majority of my workload would be wound care but its quite the opposite, my skills have widened massively and my confidence has grown. I love the variety each day brings and being able to see the positive changes I can make to our service users.
As a Band 5 Community Nurse for the Hollies, Midsomer Norton team, you will cover areas such as Radstock, Paulton, Peasedown St John, and other surrounding areas.
To complete the duties of the role a Drivers license and access to a car is necessary.
