Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a part-time Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join their team in Port Talbot. The role is focused on providing interventions for adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders resulting from neurological or medical conditions, requiring independent assessment and treatment of patients. The therapist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including band 7 and band 5 colleagues, and have the opportunity to engage with a specialist Parkinson's MDT.

Candidates should possess specialist clinical skills in managing acquired disorders and demonstrate effective time management and teamwork abilities. The department offers a collaborative environment, emphasizing staff well-being and professional development, and is equipped with advanced technology to support patient care. Flexibility and adaptability to meet clinical demands are essential, and while Welsh language skills are desirable, applicants who speak either Welsh or English are encouraged to apply.
