The role of Cardiac Physiologist at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in Harlow involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide both basic and complex cardiac diagnostic tests. Responsibilities include conducting a variety of assessments in the cardiac assessment unit based on a daily workload schedule, producing written reports for these investigations, and ensuring effective communication with colleagues. The position also entails organizing departmental activities, assisting in the development of protocols, and supporting the training and personal development of team members.
To work efficiently within a multi-disciplinary team providing a service of basic and more complex investigations within the Trust and services offered by the Trust.
Perform a variety of diagnostic tests for the cardiac assessment unit following a daily workload schedule as instructed.
To provide written reports for all investigations.
Communicate effectively with other staff members.
Organisation of departmental diaries and day to day service provision.
Assist with writing and development of department protocols
Support education, training and personal development of other team members.
