The Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust will play a vital role as the first Board-level leader in digital and data initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CIO will be responsible for shaping the strategic vision and implementation of digital technologies, data management, and business intelligence, aimed at enhancing patient care and improving the efficiency of healthcare services for a population of 3.2 million across the East of England. The role demands significant experience in digital leadership within a large organisation, with the CIO expected to collaborate with clinical and administrative teams, lead digital transformation efforts, and ensure compliance with information governance and security.

As a member of the Group Board, the CIO will contribute to the overall strategic and operational agenda, driving improvements in quality and safety while working closely with multiple stakeholders. Key responsibilities include overseeing ICT infrastructure, promoting digital innovation, supporting data-driven decision-making, and managing information risks.
