North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the North Staffs CAMHS team, a multi-disciplinary unit focused on providing mental health services to children and young people aged 0 to 18. The position involves conducting assessments and delivering tailored Occupational Therapy interventions to young individuals experiencing mental health challenges or neurodevelopmental issues. The role emphasises collaboration with a variety of professionals, including educators, while fostering a flexible working environment that may include remote work.

Key responsibilities include managing a caseload under the supervision of the Team Leader, developing and evaluating Occupational Therapy services, and maintaining high professional standards. The therapist will apply evidence-based practices, employing the MOHO model of practice, and will be encouraged to engage in further training, such as Sensory Training. The role also involves contributing to the ongoing development of the CAMHS service, supervising junior staff and students, and ensuring effective communication and compliance with the Mental Health Act.
