The role of Contact Centre Agent at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust involves providing administrative support for Phlebotomy services at the Care Navigation Centre, located at Sandwell General Hospital. This full-time position, operating Monday to Friday, requires the agent to manage a high volume of telephone calls, register patients, book appointments, and respond to queries. Agents will work in a shift pattern from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, participating in a rota that includes varying shift times.

Candidates must be computer literate to utilize the automated appointment system and should possess strong interpersonal skills to manage patient interactions effectively. The role demands the ability to work under pressure in a team setting while managing workloads efficiently in a paperless environment. Additional responsibilities include handling service mailboxes and processing telephone referrals according to established guidelines.
