About the Role:

This role involves supporting clients in their own homes with essential daily tasks, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. Care duties include moving and handling, personal care, medication administration, and companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care tailored to individual client needs.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning using proper moving and handling techniques, hoists, and mobility aids.
- Support clients with personal care, hygiene, and dressing.
- Administer medication safely and in accordance with care plans.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, promoting independence where possible.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care outcomes.
- Maintain clear and accurate care records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience in moving and handling, personal care, and medication administration.
- Proficiency in using hoists and mobility aids (training can be provided).
- A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred but not essential).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
