The Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two registered Children and Young People's Wellbeing Practitioners (CYPWPs) to join their Warrington CYPMHS team. One role will be part of the core team while the other will support a new project within a Primary Care Network across three GP surgeries. The successful candidates will provide low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions to young individuals facing common mental health challenges, in accordance with the THRIVE framework, while ensuring high standards of evidence-based, client-centered care.

CYPWPs will manage a caseload of assessments and treatments, conduct risk assessments, and create care plans that address the cultural and social needs of diverse families in Warrington. They are expected to collaborate with other professionals, maintain clear clinical records, and adhere to safeguarding policies. Applicants must have the recognized CYWP qualification and be registered or in the process of registering with the BABCP. The position emphasises a commitment to supporting service users' rights and promoting meaningful change through valued partnerships and recovery principles.
