The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is looking for a skilled and motivated Estates Operational Manager (Mechanical) to join their Division of Infrastructure at the Dewsbury and District Hospital. This role involves overseeing all operational estate maintenance and services across hospital properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and Health Technical Memoranda. The successful candidate will manage estate supervisors, directly employed labor, and specialist contractors, maintaining a safe environment for patient care and striving for ISO9001 accreditation.

The Estates Operational Manager will provide technical expertise, manage resources efficiently to deliver quality services within budget, and assist with capital projects. Additionally, they will develop operational procedures and liaise with external agencies as necessary. Critical responsibilities include acting as the Responsible/Authorized Person for various functions, overseeing the operation and development of the Building Management System, and implementing safe systems of work across the Trust.
