The Rehabilitation Assistant role at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust in Tewkesbury involves supporting individuals in their recovery journey after a hospital stay, helping them regain independence in their home environment. The position is part of the Home First & Reablement service, which operates around the clock and focuses on delivering essential clinical and personal care while maintaining high standards. Candidates do not require prior experience but should be motivated, enjoy working with people, and be comfortable with practical care tasks. A structured development plan is offered to all new staff, with potential for career progression upon achieving the Care Certificate.

The role entails various responsibilities such as assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient progress, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and connecting individuals to community resources. Effective communication and the ability to identify safeguarding concerns are essential. Applicants must possess a valid UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle for business use. The available position is part-time, with a shift pattern of 7am to 1pm, over four days on and four days off.
