The University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Rotational Occupational Therapist to join their team at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. The successful candidate should possess a strong passion for Occupational Therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT). Responsibilities will include providing comprehensive assessment, treatment, and evaluation for patients with complex physical and psychological conditions across various specialties, including vascular, medicine, palliative care, A&E, and major trauma.

This role offers a supportive working environment with opportunities for professional development, including regular supervision, peer support, and involvement in service development. The therapist will also supervise junior staff and students, while contributing to the planning and evaluation of Occupational Therapy services. A flexible and adaptable approach is essential to effectively meet the evolving healthcare needs of patients within the acute Inpatient Occupational Therapy Service.
