The Healthcare Support Worker in the Outpatient Department at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of clinics at both University Hospital of Wales and University Hospital Llandough. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, organizing ward stocks, managing clinical equipment, and providing basic patient care under the supervision of registered practitioners. The position requires a reliable, motivated individual with a caring background and the ability to work within various medical specialties such as General Medicine, Gynaecology, and Surgery, among others.

Candidates should possess strong communication and teamwork skills, and while knowledge of outpatient services is an advantage, training will be provided. The role may require flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, and knowledge of Welsh is desirable but not mandatory.
