The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking to appoint four Cross Sector Pre-registration Pharmacy Technicians, with two positions at the Princess Royal Hospital and two at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. This role offers a full-time, fixed-term advanced apprenticeship lasting two years, during which trainees will gain experience in various areas of pharmacy, including hospital, community, and GP practice settings. The training path aims to achieve the Level 3 Integrated Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship, preparing candidates for registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as practicing Pharmacy Technicians.

Candidates for this position must be at least 16 years old, a UK resident for three or more years (or meet specific residency criteria), and cannot already be enrolled in another apprenticeship or have a qualification at the same or higher level in the same field. During their training, the successful candidates will engage in pharmaceutical duties under supervision across different pharmacy departments, complemented by training exercises and competence assessments aligned with the apprenticeship program.
