Band 5: £29,970 to £36,483 a year per annum pro rata  PERMANENT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, caring and compassionate registered nurse to join our friendly Outpatient team in delivering high quality patient focused care in this evolving diverse and busy department.

The Outpatient Department is a unique place to work and full of opportunity for registered nurses. This band 5 role will provide the right candidate opportunity to develop a wide range of knowledge and clinical skills in medical and surgical specialities. We can offer candidates the opportunity to rotate through a range of specialities including:

  • Dermatology minor procedures
  • Trauma and orthopaedics
  • ENT
  • Breast
  • Vascular
  • Various medical clinics

We are looking for individuals with a strong desire to enhance and develop their skills. Previous experience in an Outpatient setting is not essential. You will be supported by a dynamic band 7 Manager and an experienced, energetic band 6 Deputy Manager. A bespoke induction programme will be developed to support the successful candidate to achieve their full potential.

You will be required to work at Worthing Hospital in the first instance, some evening and weekend work may also be required.

  • Provide high quality evidence based clinical care to patients, in line with the Trust values and in accordance with professional regulation
