The role of Receptionist in the Oncology and Haematology Directorate at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital involves providing high-quality reception and administrative support within the busy Weybourne Day Unit. The position requires the post holder to be the first point of contact for patients, their relatives, and various healthcare professionals, managing inquiries, booking outpatient appointments, and coordinating inpatient admissions and discharges. Additionally, responsibilities include maintaining appointment systems, ensuring patient safety, managing waiting lists, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the smooth operation of clinics.

The Colney Centre operates Monday to Friday, with some requirements for weekend or bank holiday work. The ideal candidate will need to communicate effectively and exhibit the Trust's core values of People focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence, while ensuring a compassionate healthcare service. This role does not meet UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa, and applicants are advised that the Trust cannot issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for the position.
