The Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two motivated individuals for the role of Resuscitation Officer on a 30-hour Fixed Term contract. The position involves delivering resuscitation training to clinical staff and external clients, supporting cardiac arrest situations, and conducting audits and debriefs as necessary. Candidates should be registered nurses or allied health professionals with recent acute care experience and preferably previous experience as a Resuscitation Officer. A current Resuscitation Council (UK) Advanced Life Support Instructor Certificate is required, and there is flexibility to discuss a Band 5 development post for suitable applicants.

Key responsibilities include planning and implementing resuscitation training in line with established guidelines, providing simulation education, offering clinical support during cardiac arrest events, and engaging in research and audits related to resuscitation practices. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a diverse range of staff and contribute to the evaluation of resuscitation equipment and methods within the Trust.
