The Digital Health Records Scanning Services Supervisor role at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is designed for a motivated individual with experience in a Health Records Department. This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the digital health records scanning service, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards, key performance indicators, and the Trust's targets. The supervisor will manage a team, facilitate staff training, and maintain efficient health records availability to support high-quality clinical care for patients.

Key responsibilities include task allocation, quality assurance related to legal requests, and handling inquiries from service users. The supervisor will also assist in preparing internal reports, tracking departmental performance statistics, conducting staff appraisals, and ensuring compliance with health records destruction policies. This role may require travel between the Southport, Ormskirk, and Jubilee Court sites.
