Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Ward Receptionist to cover maternity leave on Devonshire ward for approximately one year, starting January 20, 2025. The position entails working from Monday to Wednesday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and involves various clerical duties such as admitting and discharging patients, filing, making appointments, and handling telephone enquiries. The role requires providing a professional service to patients, visitors, and staff, while ensuring effective communication and the maintenance of accurate patient records.

In this position, the receptionist will work independently yet collaboratively within the ward team, processing admissions and discharges efficiently and managing patient case notes. The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge of hospital procedures to facilitate smooth operations and respond to inquiries, ensuring an organized and supportive environment for all stakeholders involved in patient care.
