The Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist (Band 8a) to join their dynamic Dermatology and Plastic Surgery team in Kingston upon Thames. The successful candidate will provide specialist nursing care for patients with various dermatological conditions, including inflammatory skin issues, while managing a caseload and offering expert clinical, social, and psychological support to patients and their families. Responsibilities will include independent prescribing, supporting phototherapy delivery, referring patients for diagnostic tests, participating in service management and development, and promoting health education.

Candidates must be registered nurses with NMC registration, substantial experience in dermatology, and an understanding of the legal aspects of independent prescribing. The role offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional development and requires the candidate to maintain high standards of practice, contribute to audits and research, and ensure compliance with Trust policies regarding diversity and workplace safety.
