The School Nursing Team Leader at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust will play a pivotal role in promoting integrated working among various agencies to meet the needs of children, young people, and families in the Rowley Regis area. This position involves developing positive partnerships, providing clinical leadership, and ensuring alignment with the Clinical Governance agenda while empowering staff to innovate and excel in their practices. The leader will manage the School Nursing team, oversee caseloads, and collaborate with the Clinical Lead to enhance community health services in accordance with public health priorities.

In addition to operational responsibilities, the School Nursing Team Leader is committed to supporting the professional development and well-being of the nursing staff, ensuring effective delivery of the healthy child program, and implementing compassionate, community-focused strategies. The role will also include representing the Clinical Lead in wider Trust steering groups and offering coverage for other Team Leaders as needed. Overall, the leader aims to make a significant impact on the lives of families in Sandwell through dedicated public health nursing.
