Applicants are invited to apply for a post as a general Consultant Neurologist, a specialist interest is desirable. You will join an established team of Consultant Neurologists in helping to deliver a General and Subspecialty Neurology service within the North Midlands and beyond.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our existing team who provide general and sub specialist patient care at our Neurosciences Centre of Excellence. The Neurology out-patient and in-patient services are supported by a dedicated Neurology Ambulatory Care Unit (NACU) which provides day-case services and we also offer a video telemetry service, supported by our Neurophysiology Department.
The successful applicant will be expected to provide expert patient assessment in the diagnosis and management of all neurological conditions in both in-patents and out-patient settings. They will be required to actively engage in and develop Neurology services and to provide clinical leadership to others. A flexible approach will be required to working for our Trust, due to multiple site working. They will work collaboratively with colleagues to skills to provide new ways of working across different professions, organisations i.e. community/primary care.
