The successful candidate will be part of a team delivering 24/7 care to a young, active, and fun-loving client with cerebral palsy, providing a range of support including daily living activities, medication administration, and emotional support.
The Cerebral Palsy Support Worker will be responsible for engaging with the client's personalized routines, completing daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, and maintaining accurate records. They will collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience in a similar role, the ability to deal with challenging behaviors, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.

Our client, who is in her mid-twenties is a very active, fun-loving young lady that enjoys doing various activities throughout the week. She communicates using a mix of speech and Makaton (sign language), though she hears and understands spoken word perfectly and makes herself understood. She would love to become an active member of her local community. Our client requires 2:1 support during the day and 1:1 support during the night so we are looking to put together a great team.
The successful support worker will be a part of a team delivering 24/7 care. The shifts will include waking days & sleeping nights. We will always aim to produce a rolling rota so you can see your shifts a month in advance.
Please note the successful support worker will need to have a full UK drivers license with access to their own vehicle.
Pay Rate:
£15 - £16 per hour
